Introducing the outdoors through a supportive community has given nothing but growth, encouragement, and development for both my campers and self. Allowing reflection and reconnection in nature gives everyone in our small community a new perspective and revaluation of priorities. As Special Programs Director at Camp Thunderbird for Boys, I was given the opportunity to design events and programs that reconnected our campers and staff back to nature and their surroundings.
